Riv, did you get that harness sorted out with the info I sent? I'm happy to do it for you if you want to send the parts over (no need to send the pickups, just the pots/cap/switch/jack). No charge on that.

James, how y'a been? I think I'd like to convert this V/T circuit to V/V.

I can, of course, simply rip most of it out and follow a V/V diagram. But is there a viable short-cut, i.e. moving the absolute minimum number of connections?

    Thanks in advance,

    Riv'

Why would the (CTS, not original) volume pot on my Epi Junior roll off so damned quickly between 9 and 8? Is it the wrong taper type? How can I tell which type it is?

Just another thank you re the harness. The tone coming from this guitar, through a Fender Greta with its Line Out into a P/A (gives me all the headroom I'll ever need) is simply spine-tingling. A restoration to former glory, indeed.

Singles are available at half the price of a set, always. I'll make note of that in my thread. Thanks!
The only reason I don't advertize singles on my website is because I want to speak to the buyer to make sure whatever they are pairing my single up with will be in phase and sound good in the middle position alongside my pickup.

Are those ultra-lows available singly? I might want to try one in my MM "V", which is now wearing a Phat Cat. BTW, that picture on your home page makes me jump every time I visit.

Now that I know everything works, I'll clip it short and use it.

I'm 100% satisfied. I can't say the tone's changed, especially since I put on new and heavier-gauge strings at the same time. But the static's all gone and she rings as clear as a bell. The pot shafts are longer by a small bit, but that's actually a benefit to this guitar.

You should either clip off or use that extra ground buss wire. Antenna and potential short, otherwise.

    Looking nice , regardless man!

How's it sound with your pickup? Tone cap and pot values meshing well? I have no problem making adjustments if needed.

    James
