Thanks, River. I appreciate it. I'd heard about that incident and seen the video for the first time in that thread and was stunned by the brutality. It was disturbing. The racist comment was incredibly disrespectful to the victim and black people everywhere. People like this kid can try to do the most with what little they've been given, and there's always someone to put them in their place. Even in death. Sometimes, it's best to respond to these things honestly and in real time. The risk is in going to far and I hope I at least was able convey some respect despite the strong nature of the disagreement.

Thanks! It's better my kids take after their mother... trust me. Tiffany plays classical clarinet and went to Hofstra University for Musical Performance. She ambition was to play Broadway shows or orchestral movie soundtracks. Her prof was a Juliard Graduate and felt that she was gifted and could make it. Unfortunately, Tiffany went through a 'soul searching' phase and gave it all up, school and all. Music will always be part of her life, just not all of it. This ability comes from her grandfather, Dianes side, who could pick up andy instrument and play it.

Below is a pic of Jinksy, our Maine Coon Cat, who is of a pretty good size. He can reach up and has learned to ring our door bell to come in the house. He is the dominant male in our animal kingdom:

Here is my oldest daughter Tiffany, from about 6 months ago. She was working on her MacBook when Boo, our adopted stray fell stone cold asleep on her. The laptop has a camera and she took this shot. Tiff has red auburn hair.
