3 times the staff at the home she's at asked me if she'd had pneumonia. I said, "duh". As of today, 5 days later, it's still not written down in the file, & I just found out her kidneys almost failing never made the file either.

Had a good gig today, though! made almost 50 bucks in tips, on top of my $250 check! Not bad for a solo!

Hey man hows it going?

It's a combination of things. That's been a perennial favorite song of mine since I was 14, I was able to record it straight through in one take, and it came out sounding extremely close to how it sounds in my head. Bottom line - strong sense of accomplishment - of something I've wanted to accomplish for over 40 years.

You will. Music needs to be fun or it's, uh, no fun. I dropped out of it for quite a while myself.

I play my electrics acoustically about 90% of the time, to be honest. And I'm back "on" the Hofner Club, which is as loud unplugged as an acoustic travel guitar. Has a surprisingly rich low end, too. It's full hollow, not semi like the new ones.

Last night I just had more fun than a rational human being should be allowed to have. That's what I wanted to share, more than the music itself.

What are you lacking? Not much, I imagine. Perhaps we could fix you up. Determination is the only thing you have to come up with entirely on your own. I think you've got that covered.
