I use the Boss DD-7 delay at the end of my chain and it is fine. Electro-Harmonixs is where I would look for a reverb pedal, unless you want to spend big money. I use the Holy Grail pedal and it is great. The minimat does take pedals in front really well so I would not worry too much.

hi mate, finally placed my order for my minimat. jeff advised me to go for the greenbacks but then he said they can be a bit on the muddy side, i have a les paul classic which is muddy any way, so didnt really want them. he then said the 100s are my best bet then as did you, so went for them. didnt get the mini stack because he said i wouldnt gain any sound as it is a low watt amp and the speakers handle up to 25w and advised just the 1x12 for a week or so and if i still want the angled cab later on he can send one out as and when. hopefully be here friday, cant wait.

Ah well, I would go for the HOT 100's then, or Celestion Greenbacks. Anything else would be too risky to take a punt on. To my ears some of them sounded awful! But those two and the Alnico blues and golds were great. A lot of guys over on the Matamp forum reckon the Minimat was made for the 100's

hasnt worked, she wont take me the bitch lol, she has just remembered its her aunties 50th birthday. looks like il just have to order it. i thought bout the twin cab as well incase of getting a bigger amp but then again i only play in doors, so a bigger amp wouldnt be much use to me any way.

That cab stack could be cool. I went for a 2x12 so that if I ever buy a bigger head it will still fit on the top, not sure that would work with a 1x10? Going to the factory is an experience worth doing, just make sure you have a a way of placating your girlfriend whilst there. I have no doubt, unless she loves guitars? , that she will hate it! lol So a nice meal and/or flowers ought to do the trick. :-)

i spoke to jeff last week and was very helpfull. you was right, he loves a chat lol. he has advised me to go up to the factory and try the speakers out for myself, only trouble is i only have time to get upthere this weekend and dont know if my girlfriend will take me. fingers crossed i can convinse her lol. if not il just order it and take a chance on the speakers that jeff can recomend. im thinking of getting a 1x12 straight cab and a 1x12 angled cab so it looks like a mini stack, what you think?
