The factory is more of a workshop than a factory (in the nicest sense!) Most of the work they seem to do is soldering and cabinet making. It is well worth a visit for Jeff's stories if nothing else. I am not too sure on the classic lead. There were a few standouts those being the Alnico (gold and blue) the hot 100's and the greenbacks. Problem is that everyone hears different. If you speak to Jeff he will most likely say 90% of people go for 2/3 speakers the rest appeal to a select few. He will also more than likely allow you to swap the speakers once if you are unhappy.
nice. whats the factory like? would love to go but its a 4 odd hour drive for me one way. be nice to be able to try some out first hand, so much choice out there. do you know if they do the classic lead there? if so what did you think of them?
