Hey Frank. Just letting you know that with 1 retrospec offest and one regular retrospec stud I've achieved a junior with the correct innotation and slant angle that was on the 50's ones.
Thanks so much for your words of advice

As it happens I have a pigtail wrap around bridge that i'll be using with them, I'll make sure to get back to you on it, and i'll probably make a thread on it.
Thanks

Hi Nick,
Regarding the Retrospec offset studs, no, I didn't encounter any issues when I installed it on my Less Tall Jr. I used it with a vintage style stop tailpiece made by Pigtail. I've heard of some people having some difficulties with Retrospec studs because the spacing (i.e., the notch) is a little narrower than some of the stock Gibson (and aftermarket) tailpiece ears. But this can usually be solved by sanding or filing down the bottom of the ears a bit until they fit into the studs. It's better to have a tight tailpiece-stud fit, than a loose one. I hope I explained that well enough.
Good luck, and let me know how it turns out!

Hey there, my name is Nick, I saw on one of your threads that you used retrospec offest studs to sort out the intonation on your less tall junior. I'm planing to try and do the same thing on an USA les paul jnr, so i can use a more vintage correct tail piece. Did you run into any difficulties while attempting this? I'm just looking for a little info if you have a sec. Cheers
