WOW Frank! I just perused your site and thought a "well done" is a deserved comment

I also appreciate your remarks on my recently acquired 1997 58 LP. I've been after this particular guitar for six years... I finally had the opportunity to purchase an axe I have lusted after for quite some time.

    Be good!

Thanks! The specs I just developed myself by taking the StewMac plan and the Catto plan, combining them and reducing them to 84% size. But because I wanted to leave the neck & fingerboard full width, I had to tweak the horn area a bit to accommodate the extra width. I also had to adjust the hardware locations because I was using full size hardware on a smaller scale guitar. If you follow my threads on the guitar, I give quite a bit of other info on it.

    Hi Steven (i.e., Scoops)

Sorry, but I don't have a clue what's happening with the clown. I don't spend enough time on the forum to know this kind of stuff, nor do I ever care to. I try and stay completely away from any kind of rumor, mudslinging or political discussions, and try and concentrate on just Les Paul stuff and guitar building discussions (with an occasional post about other topics of interest to me). It's for this same reason that I've turned down numerous offers to become a moderator.

I haven't checked in to the forum in more than awhile but being the Nosey Old Woman that I am I noticed that the CLOWN has been banned and was wondering WTF happened. I know people come & go in Every forum but I couldn't help but think that he kinda LIVED in "Here". I liked his posted pics and SOME of his dry, off-the-wall anecdotal ramblings and was SURPRISED today when I visited and found that he was BANNED. Of ALL the Members in here I sorta respect your integrity and experience the most and just thought that you could shed some light on the matter. Just call me SCOOPS...

Thanks...but being a collector (and builder), and not-so-much a player anymore, I don't really have a #1 per se. When I think of people's #1s, I think of their go-to guitars for performing and/or playing. And it's hard to name a favorite from my collection. I can probably name a few favorites, in different categories. Plus, my new possible favorite I haven't made public yet, but may do so in the next few days. I'll keep you posted.

Hey Pine! I was wondering if you'd like to show your number 1 in the Post Your #1 thread in the Les Paul Section. You got such a great collection of amazing guitars and I'd love to know which is your favorite.

Thanks so much for thinking of me Lou...I had forgotten all about those flapper sanding wheels. Do they come in different grits? If just one grit, then maybe I could use 2 or 3. If multiple grits, then it depends on the grit. If you don't mind, please email me directly and I'll respond that way, since I don't like to post my address on a public forum. My email address is pinefd@comcast.net

    Thanks!
