Hey, I'm not doing it pro or anything. I just was wanting a relic, but couldn't afford a real one. I messed around with trying to relic poly body once, but it just doesn't work the same. Poly finish is way to thick and it doesn't flake off easily like nitro does. If I were going to do a squire, I would sand it down and refinish it with Reranch aresol nitro.
Hey man thats a great relic job. Not to many would have done it in blue. You killed it. Are you gonna start doin it pro or are these just projects. Let me know cause I have a few squires and there is a kid I am gonna give the lefty to with a righty neck. they suck right now but I was thinkin of doin a relic on them both. Hit me up and let me know what it would cost. It would be just the bodies.
