As for the ground to the bridge..you only need 1...it should be to the bridge though....
yours in your pic looks correct except for the ground to the tone pot...bad news is that ground is not your problem most likely....at the most it's a $15 fix(as long as the pup is not bad)

The wire you have disconnected Is the ground to the bridge tone pot.....Do you have or does anyone you know have a standard voltmeter? If so with a simple test we can find the problem....could be a dead pup....could be a bad pot..could be a bad cap..

Not trying to be nosey...where are you located? The problem you are having should be a simple fix....My Deluxe did that(Pup died) I put in a new pot...problem solved!
