Yeah, buddy. I tried more horizontal separation, but that wasn't exactly interior-decorator-approved. The vertical separation works really well, though.

Not exactly a portable rig, but if I really wanted to sound my absolute best without post-performance processing, all three would have to go. If there was no house PA, all four. They sound great at any volume, even really, really low. Root-5 9ths and 13ths just melt and run down the walls.

This ya gotta hear in person. Greta "re-amped" into Fender and driving its own 2x10, separate guitar signal going to the Rude Mood.

"Put your shoes and socks on, people, it's right around the corner."

Wow. That's butt-ass ugly. As a Tele should be.

Here it is, She's a real beauty.

The only Tele I will ever own is up in Northern California. It's a long story, but I made a promise that I couldn't break even if I wanted to. Blonde, with a maple neck.

When I do finally get up your way, I'm hoping to play the snot outta all your fiddles, especially the Tele. I can smell the mojo all the way from California!

I suppose not. At least, the name doesn't ring a bell.

There may well be something special about MY Tele (which, as you know, is not a Fender). People have been going "oooh!" over it in recordings for years now, even when they have no idea it's a Tele (seeing as how my '92 Std sounds like one, anyway).

The thing's got mojo, and I think I know why. Hopefully, you'll play it someday soon.

2nd best guitar of all time, I sez!

I have plans for the bridge pickup on my Strat. Plans that involve making it sound alot more like a Tele bridge pickup, which is, without a doubt, the best sounding bridge pickup on any guitar, ever.

You ever take a gander at Steve Morse's Tele?

And, much as I love my '92 Standard and '60 MM, nothing sounds quite like my Tele going through all those "Fender" amps. Sends shivers up me timbers, every time.

All times are GMT -5. The time now is 01:31 AM.
