Very pleased to hear that you're back to strumming a guitar.

I was unable to play much for the last couple of weeks, as I spent most of my time in a hospital intensive care ward at the side of a very old an dear friend, who finally passed away last Monday night. The funeral is tomorrow.

Playing a lot today, though-- but am really very sick and hung over. I think I need to get a bit of sleep or something.

I am incredibly sad today. I feel like a fool for not simply turning that off, but I simply cannot find the switch.

Hate it when that happens!

Eh, to hell with guitar talk and amps... I am elated to hear that you've got some sort of reunion going with your little boy's mama!

I am praying for you when it comes to this. I know you love her and I am sure that your child would benefit most from having both parents on hand as a constant in his life.

Even if she has returned mainly on behalf of the boy, this is for the better. I would say more than just this, but we're in the open here and any sort of personal discussion really is best left to PM, as there only a mod can snoop.

Can't tell you how happy I feel to hear that she's back, though!

Glad to hear that things went well for you! The praise one receives from one's peers is the sweetest of compliments, and I can understand why you were pleased with your performance.

All I have been doing is sitting around writing and playing guitar-- mainly playing guitar.

My Fender amp took a dump and died on me the other day, and so I have to take it to the shop tomorrow. Good thing I keep that Blackstar 20-watter as a backup, or I'd be stuck playing through one of my two cheesy bedroom amps.

This guitar thing has become a problem, man. I mean... all I have done for the last four months is sit around and play, while everything else goes to hell.

Gonna have to do something about it. But now the valves in my amp have warmed up and so...

No, it's wasn't truly personal. He's just the type who tends to react at times... and he has this forced kind of identity that he wishes for everyone to be aware of. Nothing is worse than a schtick that takes over a guy's life like that. Makes 'em reactionary, which makes 'em sound kinda stoopid.

No problem, Pepe. Ain't no way that I would ever have let that crap slide. There was no reason for anybody to attack you-- especially not while clothing that which was really an ad hominem attack in some sort of righteous idealism. The attack alone would have pissed me off-- but to try and pretend that he did so for any sort of lofty or altruistic reason only made it worse.

I'm sure that the dork calls his old lady as "my girlfriend", "my wife"-- or whatever the hell she is to him-- all the time.

I´ve seen that happen...building is much more satisfying, and I understand that perfectly. I´m torn between getting a PRS SE, or investing more and getting this kit. That´s why I contacted you again. I was sure you´d give it a pretty honest review. In case you ever finish it, maybe you could take some pics and let me know your opinion?
