    Hello friend!
I believe you run a JCM 800 combo? I have just borrowed one with a view to buying, and I was wondering what you dial in to get a classic rock 'crunch'? All advice welcomed!

Yeah, I hope we get these units up soon. They are laying off one third of the people there, though my job is pretty critical and I am the most senior engineer in my group (even without the degree.) One never knows, but at this point I'm not too concerned about my job.

Outages are a good way to make money, but not as much as in days past. Overtime is there, but the durations are shorter and the number of contractors is less. Still worth a look though.

The soldered connections will work great if you have good solder joints, as I'm sure you know. Not as easy to change speakers, but still trivial for an electrician.
