Great inventory! I wouldn't mind that 50's Gibson Special... They've got my '65 Jag's twin brother as well...

It would be nice if you could send a guitar around without worrying about something happening to it. I'm always real nervous opening a package when it is a guitar - always expecting to see splintered headstocks or something.

They came up with a super long neck tenon/joint for hte '08 Standard - which is very cool. They're chambering that model - which some people love, some hate. Locking tuners are stock. Asymmetrical neck on the new ones - something that might take a little getting used to. I agree though - the new Standard seems like a nice axe (almost $3k, though).

Oh, i'm sure that I'll regret parting with those two down the road - but the vintage guitar market is so soft, and I got a steal on that Jaguar. I ended up taking a BAD (bony AD) +$250 for the CGFBM I think. I also figured that I wasn't going to use the DFLE since I almost always use my CGDF. They were also my only two unused choppers - so I got my money back on them.

I wish you could try out my old LP Deluxe - nothing else that I've played/owned quite "get there" - its a great guitar.

A USA PRS is next on my list. I think it'll probably be until next Xmas, though. The SE is keeping me busy for the time being.

    DFLE?!?!?! CGFBM?!!?!?!?!?!

i'm shocked. those blades are lifers. i wish i had a second DFLE. i've kinda been outa the whole knife buyin thing, too. still using my khuks and scandis, though, and i will buy the brkt and busse khuks when they're released.

those are some cool guitars, though. i've got the GAS too lately, but haven't the trigger on anything yet.

been watching the slash videos again, and went shoppin for a les paul again. same results as always, so i tried some PRS's and none compared to my old custom22. played an esp ec-50, which was like 90% of the guitar at 10% of the price, so i got the idea to do a project or just settle for the xv500.

really been more interested in amps lately anyway, and i've got my heart set on the carvin legacy and a couple more vox's.

(I ran over the character limit!)

The blues are coming along - I'm pretty proficient w/ the Pentatonic licks/improv - still weak on blues chords aside from the basics.

The band is gigging finally. Check out our website for a couple of more recent recordings (plenty of stuff isn't laid down yet - and the quality on everything is terrible as usual!).

Fire me a link if you have any new tracks that I can check out!

Again - good seeing you around this place. Stick around! We have a few trolls here from time to time, but overall its a great group.

I'd better drop in the Yard right now and see if I can catch up.

Hey brother! Howz things been? Law school has been alright - had my Crim Law final today. 4 more in the next week and then I'll get to relax!

The guitar addiction has taken over - I've sold off a few great pieces of steel recently. I got rid of my CGFBM, DFLE, Hook, Keeper, Manix, and Lil' T to fund a 1965 Fender Jaguar! GREAT to see you over here! I just picked up a PRS SE for Xmas (from my wife - $365 shipped w/ a HSC). I really need to drop back in the Yard. I used to lurk a little, but I was way behind the power curve! I took a couple months off from forums all together when school started, and the Yard changed a lot during that time. Anyways - here's the two newbies:

The Jag w/ the '69 Deluxe:

Thanks for the text last month - I was in the thick of selling shit off to fund that Fender at that time!
