Yeah, I was just showing you that the prices are pretty high - higher than new as far as I know. Of course, that's an asking price, but...

I have to run, but Geochem1st and StrangerNY have recent experience with wrap-around bridges as recommended by BCRGreg. I'd check with them.

I got mine for $250 from M/F. I've upgraded everything, but not because I wasn't happy with it. The only thing I wasn't happy about was the overall output level, switching between a '92 Standard and it. I was recommended a SD Antiquity, went with it and, while I was at it (had to ship it cross-country anyway), went whole-hog as a sentimental project.

So it got re-wired, a Bigsby, TOM bridge, speed knobs, and PLEK'd. The luthier who did the work promised to wave me off if the basic guitar wasn't worth it, and do the work on my '92 Standard instead. He proceeded, saying the Epi's neck, board, and frets were some of the best he'd seen at any price.

I'll never get my money out of it, but I'll never try. Glamor shot:

I was just playing mine "in rotation" yesterday and this morning. Man, that thing's sweet. Right up there with my custom Tele. Just when I think I'm fooling myself, it proves itself once again. I may have just gotten lucky, but Coldsteal says the same of his.

Hey, Luke. I'm no appraiser or resale expert, but last I checked (about a year ago, maybe less) 9+ condition examples were up for sale for 350-500. I don't know if any actually sold for those prices, but they are pretty hard to find.

I would pay that much for one, based on my experience. I do think they're one of the rare cases where an upgraded P-90 - to something with a solid reputation (SD, Lollar, etc.) - would increase the value, not be a wash.

Damn you! I'm putting the same Blender rig you posted in the Classifieds in my Strat and I would have picked one of these up had you posted a week ago!

Instead, my fumbly fingers are going to have to try to wire it themselves.
