This is aimed at whoever Moderates the Tonefreak > Pedals section (I have no idea who that is )
I spend much of my time on MLP in either the Backstage, Tonefreak > Pedals, EPI Brethren section (Which is what originally brought me to MLP).
Awhile back, on another site, I wrote up a "How to make your own PCB" tutorial.
You can see it here : UG Community @ Ultimate-Guitar.Com - CodeMonks Buillding your own PCB tutorial
I also had it on the Gibson/Epiphone forum.
I was wondering if it would be OK for me to post that tutorial on MLP in the Tonefreak > Pedals section?
I could always create a thread with a poll to see if there is enough interest in the subject.
I've been making my own PCB's since around 2007 or so, so I do have a decent amount of experience at it. And been involved in electronics since 1981.
Thanks for reading my little novel (Kinda wanted to make this private .
Thank you for the many posts on the LP forum. I have a 60th anniversary Les Paul (goldtop with the trapeze bridge). It's just in my nature to mod guitars when I get them, and I love everything about this guitar, except the trapeze. I've recently been thinking about converting it to a '54 with a wrap around... Just wanted to get some advice as to whether is it practical from a technical standpoint. Any advice is appreciated. You can send a note back to firstname.lastname@example.org
So will mosquito repellant, such as "Off". It will destroy a lacquer finish. You bring an old acoustic to an outdoor trip, around the campfire, etc. Someone with repellant on their forearms picks it up for a tune or two.. Finish is all screwed up. I know this first-hand.
Who would have thought…something that you put in your mouth and is fundamentally safe
to ingest could do such damage?
Maybe a sticky on potential 'household' products that could damage guitar finishes.
