Nope, not yet. I've been looking at acoustics with a Fishman system, and thinking short-scale would suit me best, given my experience and lack of reach.

"My" drummer is an ex-Detroit-big-band guy. He thinks a trio that includes double-bass would be just the ticket for our set list. I'm inclined to agree with him, but the only guy with one that we know is a bit of a, uh, flake. So we'll see. But in the meantime, and for recordings, I'm thinking maybe I should figure out how to emulate one my own self.

The pleasure is all mine. I will download, for sure. The drummer needs to hear those, especially the rehearsal cut.

To clarify, I was talking about with an electric or electric-acoustic bass, not a guitar.
