I don't know about funky vision but everything can be measured eg action, stringheight, neck relief, pickup height etc. If your eyesights that bad then obviously getting someone to do it for you would be better for you. I'm not an expert but I know how I like my guitars to play and I won't pay someone to do something I can do myself.

hey, you suggested learning how to set up your own guitar on a thread...ever time I try it really bites...I have a good book but still I fail and I have tried a lot...I am thinking that it has to do with my eyes..they are truly weird...not only is my vision bad it is funky...could that be it?

I meant it some of those tones were killer. The Wah face thing was about a thread i started about how it's almost impossible to play a wah without making the face.
