Hey Kevin was wonderin if you could help me out. A while ago I posted a thread about what I though was a 68, everyones advice was to pass on it. Well turns out a friend bought it and a bunch of other guits from the dealer. I did some studio work for my friend using this guit and it smokes found out it has mid 64 - 65 pat # pups (I took pics posted here for help to be sure) it has a serial # that could be 65 or 68, the veneer on the guit does not look like it effects the horns to help date it. I have a chance to pick it up for around 700$ or equal ammount in studio time. I have access to it to take pics, could you help id what it really is and if its worth pickin up? The reason I ask is that looks like I can get it cheap and it really sounds killer. Any help would be appreciated. Here is the link to the original thread. Thanks
