Isn't that the truth.
Finding it hard to get the things done in a day that I need to do with any sort of urgency!!! 'Spose it'll get easier with time and when things get a bit more efficient. Also when the employee (me) pulls his finger out!!!

Heya Kate, yeah a bit busy atm what with trying to start my new business and all, leaves little time for, as you say, MLP antics.
Today being Sunday, I'm taking a rest day and catching up on MLP, doing some posting and such.
That flag thing is much ado about nothing and has been raging since Australia won the America's Cup Yacht race in the early 80s, that's where that flag first appeared.
Trust you are well and I'm going to try to spend a little more time interacting with my friends here on MLP.

I am asking for advice:
I just bought an 18 Watt marshall clone amp from UK - my old 100Watt JMP 2203 Marshall is too loud-. Unfortunately, though this amp seems to be produced very well (point to point) and though I even used two matched real NOS Mullards in the preamp section. I guess it sounds much to hard and has a fuzzy/fizzy kind of overdrive-in my ears not what I excepted.
Please listen to the simple sound clip here (made by plugging in a Les Paul custom equipped with 58 style PAF's with a G12H20 speaker and a shure sm 57 on axis)
I guess there is a cross over distortion or grounding problem, will send the amp back for a check..

I wanted to record a slide track but just could not bring myself to do a 1 4 5 Blues progression. I was looking for something a little heavier and was always fascintaed by the Music in Movies, this kind of reminds me of that type of thing.
Here is a piece I wrote and recorded in about 15 mins. White Tele in drop D for the Rhythm track and White Tele Standard tuning for slide, VOX amp see what you think?

Laid down this track about 15 mins ago, winged the lead on the second take so forgive the rough spots. Both guitar parts are my White Tele, Bridge pu, VOX amp, clean track 70's UK with delay, Lead track US High Gain same delay setting. Hope you like it, my wife heard it and said it needs a cool bass part.
