I was going to ask for your opinion actually. I read a thread you wrote up on caps and was wondering if you could recomend something to put in that would complement a set of GFS vintage 59's that I just ordered for my LP classic. I play a mix of blues rock and punk on this guitar. My quest if for a tone that's warm, but still can tighten up when I palm mute.

I understand you've got an ebay store. Let me know what you recomend and I'll order a pair.

Hey Jonesy! Thanks for all the helpful information! What do the paper in oil caps do in terms of tone? I think for now I will leave the telecaster as it is, but may upgrade it in the future or another one of my guitars. I didn't know how important the capacitors were to a guitar until I joined MLPF! Thanks for the welcoming, it's great to talk with other people who love guitars.
