Ok, can you explain me then the difference between dependant and independant? I want the middle position to react volumewise if one of the pickups is set lower volumewise

Jonesy, how do you do?
Question here, a friend of mine is going to put another pickup in my Firebird but I want him to wire it the way that if I set my volumepot of the neck on 3 or so, the middle pos is in between the volumepot on 10 in the bridge and the neck.
Can you send me a schematic how to do because now the middle pos is nearly as loud as the loudest set voluimepot and I hate that. Thnx in advance

Hello Jonesy,

I recently bought an Epiphone Les Paul Standard with Alnico Classic Humbuckers in it....I do not like the electronics in it and would like to get a fresh set of good quality harness for it.

I mostly play Blues/Classic Rock/Hard Rock & sometimes Metal and this LP is my main guitar now.

So i basically need to replace the pickups to later on, but i want to go with replacing the harness at the moment and would need your advice on which option to choose from your site.

I would highly appreciate if you could help me out...

You were right about the silk/poly caps.
I got smart and whipped up some test leads, a huge improvement
even with the stock pots.
It's a P90 guitar, a Special.
Busy day today, but perhaps I'll work on it tomorrow.
