It is a surprise. Can't reveal it yet! I want to see what Boles says; will he hate it or love it? haha I will post it on ebay. But I am not really wanting to sell it. So I plan to post it for a lot of $. This was a project that I have wanted to do for about a year. If I do end up selling it, I will probably try to find another "donor" guitar & do it again.

I thought that the Georgia/Allman Brothers part of the story was cool. Too bad there is all this mystery/drama around this stuff.

I like what the Real Rocker said; wonder if it is true: Guys, don't believe anything that Ace says in that mag, it's all garbage Here's the real deal............Ace WAS going to Atlantic City, but he SOLD that guitar to Richie Friedman at the famed "WE BUY GUITARS" , and he knew he wasn't getting it back.Nothing was changed on the guitar, that was Ace's way of excusing the fact that he was STUPID ENOUGH to let it go If Ace really had wanted to, he probably could have come up with the cash to buy it back(back then, it was a few GRAND ), but Ace didn't care then, and since it now is worth so much, he's probably mad at himself.

It seems like this is way too plausible
