...a legend of the guitar world who pioneered the solid body electric guitar and as one of the genuine founding fathers of the modern electric guitar directly contributed to the birth of rock ...and has given inspiration to generations of musicians through the legendary guitars bearing his name!

Les Paul has inspired so many legendary guitarists, who have in turn inspired so many others ...it's Slash's use of a Les Paul guitar that inspired me to play and the reason I bought a Les Paul!

A sad day for the guitar world today...

...but I, along with all others who carry a guitar bearing his name, will carry the torch that Les Paul has passed on to us ...with pride, dedication & enthusiasm ...so that the legacy of Les Paul lives on!

Whereabouts are you in the world?

Well, the LP's neck is fairly thick comparing to my previous guitar so I need to get used to it. You should try youtube lessons if you don't have a teacher - they're pretty good to get the basics. You should learn some solo in no time ;D Try Californication or Livin Lovin Maid!

And about Slash - what's your fav. solo? ;>
