    if you want the place with the most westerners I'd say it's probably Kyoto... that city has people from all over the world. The city I live is small but has a lot for it's size.

    then you'll have no problem here lol... our area is famois for the mountains. Osaka and Kyoto have a lot of westerners too. I think the southern part of Japan, around Okinawa, has a lot too but I don't know for sure. Are you from Japan or are you Japanese-American?

    nah lol my wife is from here... that's how I ended up here. There a quite a few foreigners in my town, mostly brits, aussies, and kiwis. I have made some great friends, both western and japanese.

    I grew up in TN and moved here about a year amd a half ago. I teach at a private elementary/ junior high school. It's not bad here, most people are friendly. The school, healthcare, and social security systems are great. Life here can be hard for foreigners though.... we have very limited rights, pay much higher taxes, and so on. They don't have our ideas of equality here and racism is blatant.
