Ham, you still in Gray? If so I'd love to have you beat on an amp for me. Need some stress testing!

Your thoughts on the HiWatt? Been gassin' for one. Passed on an original, from '75 50w combo (incredibly stupid, it was $1500!). People are trashing the newer models.
Did you do a thread on yours?

Yeah tight spaces aren't my forte. I have a tendency to psych myself out if I know what's comin, but I handle stress like nothin when everything is unexpected.

Pilots and air crew have a slightly modified sere experience than what I was privy to. It was mentally challenging and quite scary. If you don't like small spaces then, its no place you want to go. There is soft interrogation and hard interrogation evading and survival. Its pretty intense but, its only a start to what a person needs to know, which comes with experience. The number one thing with everything is conditioning. Mentally and physically these are things you can prepare, the rest is just events to handle.

Dang that sounds pretty intense. Bet your buddies are glad to have you in a dark alley eh? I plan on collecting my retirement, I got a good couple decades before I plan on slowing down, so I'll see where I end up. How was SEREs? It's optional but I know they highly recommend it for pilots.

Sweet man. Those are some brave shoes to fill. I was watching that thing on the discovery channel, they had scout snipers on last night. Now I'm not sure if I want to go aviation or not. haha
