why don't you go to small claims court, screw the niceties and get some compensation, or a work horse or something. If this isn't put right like promised after a few years!!! then I would question the integrity of someone, which in my eyes, puts the whole thing in question. I was admiring a workhorse and somehow it linked to your story, pathetic is all that comes to mind. Good luck brother. Then there will be a court order and others can be protected.

Well may be some day I'll get another Les Paul, as mine was stolen. Very sad at the way this turned out!

Next week will be the two year anniversary of me sending my Gibson R9 to Roman for refinishing work, sure a far cry from the 6 to 8 weeks promoised.
Roman if you read this, please contact me or just send my guitar back!

I don't know what to tell you. I sent in my Gibson R9 about 18 months ago. I spoke with Roman about 3 weeks back, he told me it was almost done and I should receive it very soon. I think he's just too busy and has taken on way more work than he can handle. I too would like my guitar back. The only advice I could offer is to keep calling him.

Hackenfort, I was reading your posts to Roman Rist. I have a similar problem, I sent him a guitar for some finish work. It has taken a long time (over six months) He contacted me nearly six weeks ago to say it was finished and he would be sending it back. I haven't received it and now I can't get him to respond to Voice Mail messages or emails on this forum. Any suggestions?

The case is ready to go, just waiting for our UPS world-ship system to begin working again.
