Best guitar I have ever owned. All original, came with a TP-6 stop tail piece (some '87s came with them). It is in like-new condition. The neck is thin (really thin, in my book), the pups are fantastic. It's an HC burst, so I think it looks pretty good too. It's the only LP I have owned that I haven't modded.

Cool. I will try it. do you have any recomendations for tone sttings for lotta love, kashmir, heartbreaker? not specific, but just say for example low mid, high treble high bass middle gain, pup switch position,(I have no out of phase or single coil split) to give me a starting point. (all with your current pup set up.) Tried to look on your vid but a bit blurred on my screen. Thanks

Thanks dude! I really appreciate your words Anyway yes, I'm still using t-top replica in the bridge and burstbucker 2 in the neck. I think it's a perfect combo to led zeppelin planet and for a versatile sound. That's my opinion!

not used sim. I liked this because even at volume 3 with gain set high, you get a good overdrive breakup. i tried fender xc etc and they were crap unless volume was high. Low volume breakup was what I was looking for, and this does it. Few youtubes on this.

What do you think of the simulated speaker output on your ht-5? Also, tube breakup?

Hi guitarcase. Parts came from rapid electronics in the main, but I think they may have discontinued the non-polarised electrolytics. Difference from stock is that it sounds more solid, has got more beef in the bottom end, and when you use it clean it's much more transparent. There isn't a "bad" part of the conversion, it just makes it a whole pile better.

Hi. When i see most pics of page ca. guitars, they look yellow and red. However a little while ago I saw a pic of a page ca.which was more brown or amber. As I see it, gibson use several different layers of lacquer which creates this effect, one of which is a vintage amber/brown.My other lp does the same, amber/ cherry in unlit room , but yellow/ red in the light or with flash. . I was looking for a pic that showed unlit colour. Thanks,Paul

Have finally put a photo of my 1990 Standard on the Gibson Les Paul part of the forum. I don't play it so much at the moment as it got refretted with frets that are a bit too big for my preference. Still like the old girl though, sounds great!
