For some reason I only see your message now, almost 3 weeks later! Great that you felt the neck! I have a Jeff Beck Les Paul, which covers my need for the baseball bat necks. It's nice to have a speedier one handy. Also it can sound kind of well...spanky

I need to start thinking about buying tickets. I fly KLM... but the sooner I have a ticket the better. With aging we may be looking at September.

just came back form Gil , again...
i just felt your neck, also the other two he's doing, i'm more of a thick side neck myself, yet rounded 59 style with maybe a hintch of V, i want to check the 3 guitars being done now when they r done, its strange to feel the necks naked like that.
regarding the finish, i think i'll go for an early cherry faded a little, haven't decided yet - i guess all the faded are usually ice tea if u want the cherry to appear as if some of it still exists, we'll see...
i already spoke to Gil about some beers when you arrive...
