lol, yea, i am losing my mind trying to find a way to pay for it fast enough (I do seasonal work with kids, so this time of year is slow) so that I can have it in my hands, one replica isnt enough, must have 2!

I do have to say though, if you have axcess to his top carve, THAT is the real treat, I have played a few replicas from different builders, and his top carve is by far the best, I am really looking foward to seeing your guitar finished!

and also, the LPjr/PRS thing that you guys are working on looks really cool, Im thinking a single Pup, with a volume and a tone, then a push pull pot for coil splitting, TV yellow, spertzel tuners, old fashioned abr-1 -> bigsby, that would be really sharp!

hey there .. as you may have noticed, nobody else really cares what the answer is .. but since you seem interested; i did built a 'burst' for steve hunter, it is NOT the same burst Slash had, it is NOT the one in the Canter book, i NEVER built a 'burst' with a quilted top .. although it would be nice to know that i built this much publicized guitar, i have very detailed, close-up photos of it and can tell you in no uncertain terms that i did not build it ..

the guitar i built for steve hunter has not yet re-surfaced .. the builder of the Slash guitar pictured in the Canter book has not yet re-surfaced ..

I just want to say that those Eastern maple tops are the greatest thing before cheese grits! Great realistic mineral staining etc.

How are those templates? Are there any for the neck?
