I went out and bought the Mexican Strat, as I didn't wanna go lugging around a collectable guitar. The teacher is a 30 something rocker dude who is really good. He is teaching us how to read music and do it the right way (IMHO). I got hooked and play almost every free moment I have (either playing or hunting out guitar bargains now actually). Glad that I am doing this as it always has been a regret that I had from early on in life. Oh, by the way.. Thanks for the assistance with this stuff. You have already saved me from at least one disaster. The Zakk I was pretty suspicious about, but thought at the very least I could get you some pics of another copy for you to have as reference.

In the early 80's I was going to learn, so I went out and bought a 68 Fender Tele w/bigsby tremelo. They couldn't give those away then, and paid USD$200 for it with original case. It was (and still is) in excellent condition. Luckily I never parted with it.
A few months ago I was reading the local community centre's newsletter and they were offering beginners classes.

I could see problems with that black custom "I" serial number guitar, but got confused by looking it up on Guitar Dater Project. I was pretty sure that this was a Korean guitar, but then when GDP said that it was a 2005 and had Korea/China as the country of manufacturer I went to ask you guys.

Look, I don't need to know everything at the moment. I would love to learn more as this stuff fascinates me.

It has been a lifelong dream of mine to play guitar. At 52 I reckon it is either now or never. Luckily I have the wherewithall to buy a few guitars. I have a Epi 335 Dot Studio, an SG G400, a Fender Mexican Strat, a Maton and a Fender acoustic. I love these guitars. I will probably have to add a room onto the house to hold all that I acquire. these were photos i asked him to send me. He told me that I could buy it for $450 as a buy it now price.

i am curious that if in fact it is more than just the EE serial numbers, how can I determine if it is a good one.

another bloke here in melbourne has a zakk wylde bullseye for $350 listed on Gumtree. He send me a pic, but not a very good one.

I am hesitant to post it after getting flamed the first time.

I see that you answered PuroRock's comment, but seemed not to have responded to my request of assistance. Do i take from this that you think I am a 'fake' on here. If so, let me know, as I won't waste my time trying to get assistance. I am very confused.
