Hey, saw that you like your Alumitones and P92's. I have a set of each in 2 Les Paul Studios. Trying to decide what my 335 will get. Leaning towards the Alumitones. What pots and caps worked best for your Alums? I'm using 250k pots for mine - Great tone and incredible definition, but missing that sparkle of the P92's. Wish I could combine the best characteristics of both into one set.
Can you please help me with some recommendations on Pots and caps for the Alums? It's for my 335 w/ maple top - the 'antique' model. I use Elixir 11's nanoweb. Everything is still stock, and the guys at Lace say to switch to 250k pots - Did you find 500k to be too bight or harsh? I'm into glassy, bell-like tones with lots of string def and a defined bottom. My p92's seemed a bit 'ice picky' but I still love them. Hoping for better balance with the 335+Alumitone match.
Any recommendations or advice/ finding from your experiences would be greatly appreciated,
    Thanks!
    Rich
