Your more than welcome. You have to be really careful as well when constructing a 64 bit system. The big thing is for devices like sound cards, video, etc, that the manufacturer has written 64 bit device drivers for their hardware. I've gotten burned a few times with this. Just an FYI
Thanks. It's too bad most of my aps are only 32 bit. But I guess with time, newer programs will be coming on board that will take advantage of the full 64 bit architecture.
When I was building my computer a couple years back i was aware of the 64 bit XP Pro and could have set the computer up that way. Or I could have had two OS's on it, a 32 bit and the 64 bit. It' just at times, more often than it used to be, I need a lot of ram and wide open computing power. Some of the prints I make come out at over nine feet in length. I keep the file sizes large because the detail has to be there or why bother?
