Hey Grease, I guess I should check my mail more often. Didn't even see this. No, not an engineer by degree, however I do have two other master's degrees. I do regulatory affairs for a pharmaceutical development company. I do have quite a bit of machine shop experience from when I used to work for a company that made production equipment for the pharmaceutical industry, which is probably why I've taken to (so called) lutheiry so well... haha. We used to duplicate machine parts in metal all the time, so good you couldn't tell the difference sometimes. That's been kind of my approach on guitar building, just reverse engineering each component and duplicating it perfectly. It's actually incredibly simple when you view it that way.

    talk to ya later buddy...

Yeah I will back off too. The sad part is that he does build some nice guitars. I just couldn't get over the attitude. As far as Roman, I don't know what's up. I really respect the guy and he does killer work. I figure he must be kind of "in over his head" with life right now. I know Will Boggs helped him move his shop and talks to him. I would be torn if I had a guitar there. I really would hate if he gets a bad name as far a customer service goes you know. I don't know, it seems to me that a $1000-$2000 guitar is a drop in the bucket for some here, but for me it's a shitload of money. I would at least want an email every so often.
