Yes, with a white wash finish you will mask the chattoyancy. Only a dye stain will allow full transparency for maximum chattoyancy. Whitewash is a suspended pigment.

Nice. I've seen that mentioned before. I think I even have a PT2399 that someone gave me in a grab bag of parts. That's far more complicated than my simple circuits. I do have a question for you... Do you know much about getting PCB's made? Cost etc. or who to contact?
