Yeah, I tried that lead impact thing you were talking about. I already have a 1gb card and adapter And the Pulse version of Comfortable Numb is also my favorite version!

Yeh I have had great fun with mine. I have had it about a year and still haven't found or used all of the features!
I would recomend investing in a 1 GB compact flash card, and an AC adaptor(you probably have these already).

The last thing I did with my BR was to load a some of my favorite tracks in WAV format. Then I reduced the impact of the lead breaks. As someone pointed out in the thread, it is not possible to eliminate the lead track because it is only two track. But you can reduce the impact of a lead break.
I prefer to do this than play along to backing tracks because:-
1. I have no singing voice! therefore I can keep the vocal side on my recording.
2. I can play along to my favorite version of a song, eg Comfortably Numb from the Live Album Pulse.
