Happy Birthday !

The group was started by Pete (paruwi) after the Epi Lounge at GF had a meltdown in late April, many of the guys left there in disgust and this was to be a new home for them. Great to have you aboard mate, I hope you enjoy it.

Oh, I remember that thread now! Good times.

I did exactly the same as you at first, used fingers for practice and rehearsal, stuck with picks onstage. Until that one night. I can actually still remember the moment, watching the pick drop in slow motion towards the floor while I tried to decide whether to grab another pick off the mic stand, or just go with it. I went with it. You'll prolly have a similar moment when the time is right. No need to push that, not while playing for a crowd, at any rate.

Nothing new at the moment, if you've already seen the take on Red House I did with the trio on Labor Day. I do have a nifty new video recorder, tho, soon as I work out how to use that, I'll be a video-posting fool. You play electric fingerstyle, too?
