lol, thanks man. Right when I was getting ready to leave I remembered I had my camera in my car, so I did a couple quick clips.
spiffy? just jeans and a jacket lol. It was raining so I was trying to stay warm and dry. We're in a garage with next to zero insulation.
The tele is some partscaster thing that was put together by a guy named James North. I bought it off of JM Vasek here on the forums. It's got a super thin nitro finish on it that I can scrape off with my fingernail. It's got don mare zep-o-tones in it, which are damn amazing. It's a really fun guitar, but the small vintage frets make it kind of difficult to play lead licks. But it sounds so good I deal with it.

Very, very cool man. I laughed my ass off when I saw "fin" at the end. Very tasty licks, I especially liked the last one. The amp sounds great man. I always thought 6v6 amps make a real pleasing almost vocal like "aww" sound? What kinda tele is that? You looked quite spiffy for a gear demo as well lol.

I'm checking it out right now.

See if that works
there we go.

I did for a few seconds in the vid. I was actually enjoying it alot without the pedal though.
It's uploading right now, so hopefully I can link it soon.
-
Yeah man send the vid as soon as possible. Did you throw the squawk in front of it?
-
I dimed it for a few minutes. There was soooo much sag. It sounded best at about 3 o'clock on the volume. Once I figure out this editing software I'll link you to the vid.
It's an amazingly fun little box. The simplicity is pretty freeing. Just plug in, and turn it up. With the tele is sounded fat as hell. I can't wait to hear it with some nice HB and a rippin p-90.

Awesome to hear man! Did you dime it, did the bas stay strong with the tube rectifier?

Got to crank the specialist for a few hours today. My previous "holy shit" comment was a complete understatement. This thing is loud as hell and sounds awesome on every setting I tried. I'm completely hooked on this thing. You should check it out if you want the fenderish sound. It's got a lot of chime too.
I can't wait to play it with my daylighters.
Also I shot some quick video of the amp with my tele, I'm editing it now.
It came out okay, I used the camera's built in mic, so it's not super great, but you can tell it sounds good.

I think the circuit is pretty close to a tweed deluxe. Very loud and clean at 10 o clock. I'll probably be running it at about half way most of the time. It seems to get kinda crunchy pretty early. I'm gonna take it to our practice space as soon as I get out of school tomorrow, so I can crank it there. I'll bring my camera and see how it fairs with the loudness. I'll do a real demo after I get my daylighters though (soooooo close).
I'm not sure about the 1x12 yet. Maybe now is the chance to try the blue out. Though I don't really hear about people using them with fenders too often. I may just go with a nice greenback though.
