I don't have a 5:50, I do have a Mesa Blue Angel. I have tried the 5:50 and I really like it, I prefer it over the 5:25 because I like the tone from the 6L6 tubes more than the EL84s. The 5:50 has a beautiful clean tone, sounds great when it's pushed in either 5w or 50w setting, it has a beautiful reverb and appears to be as well made an amp as my old Blue Angel.
