Thank You for dropping those gems in the "Whatcha Listening to today" thread.
You've single handedly broadened my horizons more than words can say.

I started to say something, and then realized you're the guy to have fun there.

Oh, he did 3 gigs. That is new to me. Thanks for the info.
Yes, it would be very nice if there was a bootleg out there with a decent quality .

    Thanks for your thoughts.
And you are right, concerts (and of course the audience) changed a lot over the years.
I've read a nice book about Bill Graham, setting up his shows and the Fillmore idea. It was an interesting story about the beginning of our show-business today and all the technical stuff bringing out sound on medium and bigger stages.

    A side note to Duane:
One of my all time favourite albums is Clapton's Layla and I know that they both did one (or maybe two) concerts together. I always asked myself: Was that really magic or is this synergy only on this album?
I've read somewhere that one of Clapton's Derek concert was filmed somewhere. Man, it would be gorgeous to see this concert one day .

Yep, the very thought of seeing Duane live is marvellous ... and that is only one artist on your awesome list .
