Same amp - and LOUD for its size. I guess that it starts to break up around 4 or 5 - and I've quite honestly never had it turned up past 4.5 or so - even at unmic'ed gigs. I played an outdoor house party last night and was sitting at 3 or so. I have a Classic 50 4x10 with an additional extension cabnet (both a 4x10 and a 1x15) - and I've never "needed" it, and rarely take it out since the C30 is so convenient. I love that little amp. I got mine used for $350.

Hey Diceman, I read on an old post that you have a peavey classic 30, and I was wondering about it. I know its 30 watts class A with 4 el84s and 3 12ax7s...My question is about the clean channel. How loud can you turn it up without it breaking up too much?
