    Hey diceman..
I was wondering if you could help me find an Epiphone Les Paul Custom Wine Red online or in music shops around your area...
Do you know of any good shops that have them....?
I was interested in the white les paul but decided that the wine red color is far more superior in looks ( in my opinion )
hope you are able to help me..

I respect the loyal opposition. I do not, however, respect opposition that puts forth the proposition that our elected president can do no right. Especially when they cry "foul" when things are done that they would back 100% if they were done by someone for whom they voted. That's just bullshit.

IMHO, BO is very unlike his "base" likes to imagine him, and much more like the opposition "base" likes to imagine he's not. But what do I know? In any event, he's my president and I want him to kick some serious butt. He's shown he's more than capable of that.

What do people hope to achieve by undermining others' confidence in their president? I don't know - I don't get it. I don't get it when the dude is someone I voted for, and I don't get it when the dude is someone I opposed.

"There it is." Thanks for listening.

I didn't vote for George Bush, but I had high hopes for him. I disagree with your assessment that the media sank him - I believe he (technically his administration) sank himself. The more facts that come out in the form of declassified documents the more tarnished his legacy becomes. I frankly feel he was incompetent, and grossly so. But the jury will be out on that for quite a while, probably until I'm dead.

I was "this close" to voting for McCain until he chose his running mate. I ran from that like a kitteh from a bath. I doubt you'll see my point on that, but tens if not hundreds of thousands of fence-sitting voters followed me. IMHO, that lost him the election in a BIG way.

This is a little too purely political to put in a public thread, so...

I really appreciated your last response - very thoughtful.

John Kennedy's "achievements" were no less over-stated. He out-rock-starred Obama, then went and got assassinated and is now a legend.

Eisenhower's were (arguably) indisputable, but his presidency was kind of "eh?".

Truman was pretty much thought of as a dink when thought of at all, yet may have saved the free world; and his stock among historians is at an all time high.

Nixon was a great man, but the Republican party, and conservatives in general, are still reeling from the effects of his fuck-ups. Have you seen "Frost-Nixon"? Please do.

Oh, my bad. I though you had some Jazzmaster's. Fender's guitars tend to look very similar. Glad to see you're still rockin' the Tele's, I've been interested in a few lately as well. Can't bring myself to dive in yet, still testing the water

    Thanks, glad to be back.

Dice, before my two month hiatus I noticed you were going through a Tele phase, but I see it's moved on to Jazzmasters? Nice!

That's a rare guitar for people to focus on, it's nice to see variety. I've never played one or heard one personally, are they Strat-ish, or a whole different sound alltogether?
