Thanks for checking in, and the words of encouragement. I do feel like I've moved up a level, especially since my first "real" gig Labor Day weekend and the last few rehearsals with "my" drummer (still shopping for a bassist).

We're doing well, thank you. Riverette's new shrink ordered an MRI and they found some brain abnormalities which explain her difficulties. Don't know to what extent and what treatment will consist of yet. Hoping to get an appointment with a world-class neurologist in the next week or so (fingers crossed, etc.).
