I put some pics of the R1 up for you in a backstage thread. I hope they inspire you to get that R1 you are after.

    What's up, bud?

For the city you can't beat a dual purpose (street legal dirt bike) or a supermoto. They are light and agile and a lot of fun to ride. I had a KTM Duke II, it was a blast.

The Suzuki DRZ 400 (dual purpose) or the Suzki DRZ 400SM (supermoto) are a good choice. Do some searches and see what suits you.

    What's up, Deftone ??
In 3 years I'm going to get my license ( here in Brazil we can only drive at the age of 18 ), and I fool around with my uncle's Yamaha XTZ 250 ... what kind of motorcycle would you recommend for city use ( with a lot of traffic, worse than you can imagine ) that looks nice, average fast and won't make me bankrupt ??

Please keep in mind that to have an idea, the cheapest Harley Davidson ( used ) you can find here is at the 11,000U$ average

    Thanks bro

Oh yea, Yamahahas. How I love 'em! Had one many, many moons ago, but not an RS. If I were to get another bike, it would be the Suzuki 650 V twin, though the Duck Monstro has a certain visceral appeal.

Truth to tell, I have been out of motorcycling for about seven years. God! Anyway, I'm not quite up to speed on the latest and greatest. By the way, I live pretty close to Deals Gap. Last time I made the trip though those ess's was about ten years ago.

Keep riding and keep the rubber side down,

Nice bike, Deftone. Make? (Hard to tell with tiny pix.) Last bike I owned was an F-2. Nor my fav, but pretty reliable. Ah, those were the days.
