You need to make some YouTube videos! It aint hard! I use a Canon Powershot camera! (http://www.pma-show.com/news_images/...hot_a570is.jpg) The sound is crap, but at least I can see myself, and make adjustments (It was how I figured out that old yellow Special looked like a toy when I played it - well, that and that everybody told me so) But I think its a good tool for feedback about your playing! Most cameras these days have a VIDEO setting, and dont even need a big memory card - you werent gonna play "November Rain" anyway... right? So get crackin Scorcese!

I do know who DCOOPER is. In fact I kind of figured that's probably who you were trying to send a message to. He has quite a collection of guitars. If Epis started being highly sought after he would make a fortune if he sold them.

Check out his profile and youll see what I was talking about by "126 guitars" I think that guys biological parents name is "Epiphone" I think the "Cooper" name is just an undercover trip.

I only own 3 guitars. They are Gibson Les Paul Vintage Mahogany, Samick acoustic guitar, and a Tacoma acoustic bass. I was a decent player before I bought the LP but my playing has gotten me more compliments since I bought it. The MLP forum is fabulous. The people here are super nice and very knowledgable and happy to offer help to others.

Though I dont know you that well, from what I see on YouTube, you really rock those semi acos (dots and 335s)... I used to think those were your main guitars, then I realized you have like 126 guitars...

Im enjoying the strat, but finding a strat forum was rough. I havent yet. I was over at fenderplayersforum and met some nice people, and met some not so nice. didnt matter they closed up shop anyway. Then tried to get into thefenderforum but they require a non-free email address (I think its the same people as lespaulforum) I dont have that and Im not comfortable giving a work addy, though I may use it, then pull it from my profile after I get in. Anyway, finding nice knowledgable people is hard. LPF has been good.

I have left my VM alone except straplocks. I love the tone I get. I play mostly clean music. I play at my church all the time. Right now I barely have any time to play anything else. It gets like that just before Christmas, and Easter. I also love playing Blues and Jazz. I have been working on solo's, before it got busy at church. I have been studying Charlie Christian. He was one of the pioneers for the modern jazz guitar sound, as well as one of the first to play single note solos. He died way to young, but his influence lives on.

Haha! would be nice if I were in the market. But, the wife was barely cool with my latest grab...

I just dropped another $50 buying new pots, switch and shielding foil. (Parts in Japan are stupid-expensive... I dont mean that like hip hop slang, I mean I should have my head examined for paying these prices!!) Im kinda happy with the results (less noise means I get better high gain tone) but Im still considering picking up a set of Fender Lace, or Hot Noiseless pickups. I love the Strat shape, but Im not married to any kind of "pre-CBS vintage tone". Nice cleans and dirty, yet buttery crunch is what Im all about. The only thing Im against is routing it out to stick in a humbucker. But with all the super-hot singles and humbucker in a single coil options out there, a fella need not reach for power tools to get that tone.

He built it to what the guy wanted. The guy loved it. Wade just finished working on a 1982 Gibson LP standard. He bought it on ebay to fix and sell. It needed work done on the binding and top needed to be refinished it looks fantastic. I am hoping to have pics soon of it. I got to try it out unplugged, and it resonates loud for a nonchambered guitar. He is toying with the idea of keeping it because of how good it sounds to him. I will tell if you if he does sell it.

I saw Wades guitar! Nice! If I had hand painted it... I might have tried a black perimeter burst with all black back. Then again, I havent had great luck painting guitars... never seem to know when to say when and just let it be. So maybe the all-green is best.

One thing DID definitely confuse me though; that was the big locking tremolo a the bridge, but non-locking nut...

Hey Kuroyama, My friend Wade custom built a guitar for a guy and he sent me some pics of the guitar. Click on my profile and there is an album with the pics in it. Please check it out and give me some feedback. Thanks.
