Painting it was easy, then again i am a painter. i sanded the body, smoothed the edges for more of a strat look, primed it, sanded it smooth with 600 and started painting. you can do it with a spary can but i use an actual gun (again i am a painter). first color was silver, after it dried i taped off what i wanted silver and painted over it with a blue, then a taped off all i DIDN'T want to be black and sprayed black. then i cleared it. if you'd like i am doing another project in the upcoming month and would be more than happy to put a thread in the custom shop for you, i can also make instructional videos and post them on youtube. ill be more than willing to offer any and all advice i have if you were looking into this sort of thing. btw youre birthday is the day after mine

A lot of people don't realize how important your wiring and caps are bro. Yeah that total is correct, whenever you are ready just let me know.

The LP wiring kits for MLPF members is $90 for a pre-wired harness, 500K CTS Pots, .022 PIO Caps, vintage wire you can add a new pre-wired 3 way switch and input jack with braided wire for another $30 + $5 S&H.

Gibson won't benefit from switch and jack as much as epi's will.
You can also email me at jonesyblues@yahoo.com and that is my Paypal addy as well.

Wiring and Cap upgrades can improve your guitar Tone as much as new pu's
    can sometimes IMO.

    Thanks, jonesy
