Hi, The black P90 dog ear cover on my early '65 SG Junior has a crack and I should like to replace it. I saw the replica cover you put on the forum. Have you got a shop online or something like that? Is it really from the same mould as the originals? The provenance of these old tools/moulds etc is interesting stuff. I guess I am making an assumtion that these replica covers dont actually come now from Gibson any more but I may of course be wrong. Its quite surprising how long some of the tools in instrument manufacture are in service for. A good example of this is the "F" holes in the brass bodies of OMI Dobros (which do not really come very close to the old Nationals). Until fairly recently I understand were in fact the wrong size - too small. The stamps/dies being used were old National tools used originally on National Tenor guitars which had smaller "F" holes than standard guitars, ..........all those years ago! I guess Adolph Rickenbacher was quite a toolmaker.

    Hi Danelectro,

I sent you an e-mail but I'm not sure if it went through. I was wondering if you would sell the pickups to someone from Canada. I also have some relatives in the U.S. (Dallas and Miami) if you're not comfortable with sending the pickups across the border. Do you have Paypal?

    Regards,
    Carey
