there is definatly a difference between these and the stock pick ups. they give a more classic les paul sound and are a lot clearer.
I'm actually thinking about selling them right now because i want to put in a set of zebra pickups . i think they would look good in the HCS. i'll probbably get the '59s again, just in Zebra or maybe a jazz/JB combo. which is a little heavier of a sound i think and might be better for my style of playing.
If you want to try the '59s, i'll give you a good deal on mine, let me know.
