Lol. Never did that. Check your thread. Don't try to hurt my reputation here. Don't have one anyways.

Herzliches Beileid. Ich weiß, wie schlimm ein solcher Verlust sein kann. Letztes Jahr ist eine unserer Katzen gestorben, und wir vermissen sie immer noch. Alles Gute

Well, I'm going to paint using synthetic lacquer (going to change the color to cherry red), then I'll spray a flat clear lacquer. I intent not to spray thick coats, cause the thickest the finish is the worser my guitar will sound. I've never did it before but i'm quite confident.

It's possible to find nitro paint and lacquer in my country, but it's not possible to find em in spray cans, so it means that I need an compressed air painting pistol, which I don't have, so I would have to send it to a luthier to do the job, and that's expensive like hell.

Hey man, thanks for you reply!
Well, here's what I'm going to do:

    1) Remove paint and everything else to bare wood.

    2) Apply grain filler

    3) Paint until my cans are empty

    4) overcoat with lacquer

    5) Wetsand (which grit should I use?)

    6) buff

    hope it's alright! bis dann!

Hallo! I'm now checking your bulldog build thread, it's awesome. One little question: I'm looking to repaint my les paul, I'd like to know which methods you did use to paint yours. it's just a question about what have you done BEFORE you applied the paint itself, such as sealer, grain filler etc. This would be very helpful for me. Thanks a lot, vielen dank

I think I just died a little inside"

    isn't that the truth...
