Thats one thing swaying me from getting a blue. Unless I could try it out with my amp for a while, I just don't think it'd be worth it.

Everytime I go to mojotone I start looking at their 2x12's. Right now I'm looking at their 4x10's and thinking how awesome that would be, lol. I keep telling myself "1x12 1x12 1x12 1x12!!!"

Have you thought about Stone-age cabs? I know they make some of the best in the biz. And don't forget the Celestion Blue is a $300 speaker.

The average price seems to be 250-300 for a nice 1x12, unloaded.

For the speaker, I'm thinking a greenback, or maybe a blue. Not quite sure yet.

How much are you willing to spend on the cab? And is there a speaker in particular you want? Mojo parts probably could build you a 1x12 tweed cab or something?

haha, I don't want a surf green guitar, but an amp could be pretty cool.

My current cab is an avatar 2x12. It's build really well and has held up to my abuse without a problem.

I want something a bit smaller though, a lot of bars and pubs that we have played always had small stages, and my bassist and I had to stack our amps on top of each other. Having a 1x12 would free up a lot of space. Just have to decide on a color and speaker.

Ha, surf green? I think I'm a bad influence on you. I remember back in the day I was like " I love surf green tele's!" And you were, ".... kinda bright dude" HA! You could look into Avatar cabs I know they sell pretty nice cabs on the cheap.

you know, I think it would sound good. Mix the chime and sparkle of the blue with the thick bass and midrange of the greenback, that could be really cool.

I gotta find a nice 1x12 somewhere. I'm not sure if I can match the tolex on the amp though.

You know I found on Wildwood.com they have a special thin skin 52 tele reissue with thin nitro coat 9.5 radius and 6105 fret wire... kinda made me drool a lil lol. I'm thinking in the vox since it comes with greenbacks just selling one off and putting an alnico blue in with the greenback, you think that would sound good?
