    now thats a great visual

Ya, I'm gonna try and get a qoute from the Thruth. Seems he has a much better wait time than Callaham, not that it's hard to beat. :P And a great price. The only thing is he is in Croatia. I kind of worry about the climate change a bit. Especially to CA.

I think I'm going to have to go with a rosewood board for this strat. Seems fitting to this little two-tone beauty.

The SRV winds got my Nibs hard

Those are the same two I had narrowed it down too. I think I'd go with the SRV winds though. I like a thicker tone. It's tough without actually hearing them in something, but Fralin's are always good.

It's between these two, the 54's don't interest me. Seems they'd be too bright.

Callaham Special Wind. This is an ALNICO V magnetic, 42 formvar wire done to our specs. We have measured from original Pre-CBS pickups. They have a full clear bass response, a thick strong treble and a very wide frequency response and will challenge the best original vintage pickups you can find.

Callaham H/SRV Specials. This again is a special wind for those who want the Hendrix, SRV, EJ sound. What makes this set different from our "Special Wind" is better note separaton and clarity on the wound strings under high volume overdrive. The plain strings are very full and the overall sustain is excellent

It should just be standard shipping times. All they do pretty much is machine those parts, so I'd hope they have them in stock.

Which Fralin set you thinking about? They have 3 I believe

I looked on his website and it says all is in stock unless stated otherwise. I think I might pickup his s-vintage hardware set, and some of his Fralins.

Yup, they take thier time stamping that steel.

I wish someone would just give me a nice strat, so I didnt have to decide on one. lol
